Have you ever been hooked on a beauty trend that you work so hard to love but it doesn't seem to love you back? This is my exact situation with matte liquid lipsticks. While they look lust worthy on my favourite beauty people; the formula just doesn't want to bond with my perpetually wrinkly lips. A few months ago I had started with picking up the Kat Von D range and have now added the Anastasia to my collection but it just seems to take so much work to get them right. Here I decided that Nobel was much too flat so I paired it with a deeper liner and topped things off with metallic eyes for contrast. Sculpted cheeks are courtesy of my new love, the Kate Moss Contouring Palette* which was a surprise hit. But really; what gives with these matte lips? Should I go back to the Youtube tutorials? Or should I just give it up now?
