Hello Everyone,
Another popular product today to share with you, Lancome's Teint Miracle foundation! This can be said to be one of Lancome's most exciting releases in the past year. As I am not all fond of their mascaras (though they hold the top selling mascara in the prestige cosmetics market), I think they have a good shot with their base makeup products. I was thrilled to see this being used by a couple of makeup bloggers and even more excited after seeing the demos on HSN.

First and foremost, you can't resist the beauty that is Juila Roberts. I think Lancome's choice for the spokes model for this foundation is spot on. Sure, there is photoshop and a team of beauty experts behind this ad to "enhance" her look, I still think that Julia represents the aesthetic that Teint Miracle is trying to sell.

If you aren't a Roberts fan, well then I still think that the design team at Lancome did a fantastic job with the look and feel of the product. Classic, simple and somehow very elegant without looking too dated. The iconic Lancome flower tops the lucite cap as you can see here.

Meant to produce flawless yet natural results on the skin, Lancome claims several new technological developments with this foundation. Here's what Lancome has to say about this....

My own before/after results with
Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation
Buff 2 (w)

- Reduced redness overall
- Evened skintone to a uniform shade
- Reasonably good match to my neck colour
- Natural finish, felt thin and comfortable on the skin
- Not at all greasy and no obvious shine to the skin afterwards
What about Lancome's own claims?
Did it live up to what it said?
a quick peak at the ingredients....

In short...
- Recommended for most skintypes unless extremely oily or extremely dry
- No breakouts or skin issues after use
- Medium coverage and spread well without loosing opacity
- Great for all ages, from younger age group to mature skin
- Comfortable feel though not long lasting (try primer and powder)
- Slightly rose scent enhances the application experience
- Dries to a sophisticated sheen on the skin, not too flashy but not matte either
I think beyond the longevity factor, this product by Lancome has really impressed me. The texture and feel of it is quite perfect and it certainly gives a brightened look to the complexion, I can see myself reaching for this one often. It has a strange reminder to my beloved CHANEL Pro-Lumiere but slightly less creamy and better suited for combination oily skin. Both are in my top list!
Hope you enjoyed.

I just found your blog tonight. Love all of your detailed reviews particularly this one! I've seen this a few times in ads and didn't know if it lived up to the hype. Looks like I'll have to go in stores and take a closer look. It really evened out your skin tone in the before/after shot!
